Introduction

Alprothane is a liquid isocyanate terminated pre-polymer based polyol. Polymers made from Alprothane polyurethanes by reacting with MOCA and specially formulated Alprocure Hardeners offers the elasticity of rubber combined with toughness and durability of metal. Alprocast prepolymers  are available in a broad hardness range (eraser soft  to bowling ball hard) i.e Shore A 15 to 95. It allows  to replace rubber, plastic and metal with the ultimate in abrasion resistance and outstanding resilience.  Alprothane can be custom formulated to meet the specific needs. This diverse selection of urethanes offers a line of hand mixable and hand pourable products that range in hardness from very flexible to very rigid. These materials are used to make flexible molds, prototype parts, fixtures, and foundry patterns.
