Introduction

Lympro’s Alprothane 4000 is a two-component polyurethane elastomer system. On mixing ALPROTHANE 4000 with MOCA system at 50oc temperature it cures to form a Rigid and flexible elastomeric material. The product is available having varying Shore A Hardness from 55 to 95.

Take  ALPROTHANE 4000 , HEAT IT @ 60^OC,
Degass it  till all air bubbles vanish
Simultaneously melt the hardener approx @120^OC[ the ratio is 100 : 16, resin : hardener]
Mix both the products
Again apply the vacuum for a minute
Pour the mass in duly heated mould [ temp. around 50^OC]
Demould the mass after curing say around 2 hrs.
Keep the mass in oven for 8 hours @ 100^OC
