Introduction
Alprothane 2850 is a two pack polyurethane coating. The coating has excellent adhesion to various substrates viz. concrete, metal, paper, wood, textile, leather etc.. The coating finds applications as a base coat or primer in different fields as it has good bonding capacity with other polymeric coatings
Due to low viscosity of Alprothane 2850, it penetrates through the pores of porous surfaces (e.g. paper, concrete) and blocks it and even seals the cracks. On the concrete surface, the material penetrates to the fine capillaries of concrete and blocks it, making the surface Water proof.
