Introduction
Lympro’s AquaCease 1530 is a water based acrylic coating for water proofing of structures. AquaCease 1530 by proper application (0.6-0.8 mm thickness) on a neatly prepared primed surface provides a perfect water proofing for roofs, terraces, walls etc. The application technique is comparatively easy and can be applied on moist surfaces also.
The product is in the form of a smooth thixotropic paste allowing a good application properties and higher thickness in few coats. The coating has good adhesion to the concrete. The inherent elastic property in conjugation with the strength makes the coating to bear the expansion and contraction forces of the concrete. The AquaCease 1530 coating is “Water Vapour Permeable” i.e. only water vapours allowed to pass through it whereas, water is completely prohibited. The UV resistance and
Weatherability adds to make AquaCease 1530 a perfect waterproofing which lasts for long.
Application :
Any cracks, pot holes, joints should be properly sealed with Lympro’s AlproCast 2000 or by a mixture of cement and AquaCease 1416. Clean all foreign matters such as dirt, dust, grease, algae/fungi etc. wash thoroughly with water and allow surface to dry completely. Apply primer coat of Lympro’s Alprothane 2828 by brush or roller. Allow to set primer for 30 – 60 minutes ( primed surface should be tacky) and apply AquaCease 1530 by roller or brush. Allow each coat to dry for minimum 30- 60 minutes depending on the atmospheric conditions. Apply 3 – 4 coats to achieve coating thickness of 0.6 – 0.8 mm.
